What is an action?

It’s much more than a simple preset. A Photoshop action is a recording of all the stuff I did while post-processing. Just press play in the Photoshop Action panel, and magically see everything I do while editing my images appear on your screen.

What kind of photos can I use with this action?

Raw files of forests, trees with a little bit of strong light (sky) in the background are best. Here are all the raw-files I used to create the examples shown above.

Note that there is pure white in the sky in each of these photos.

Winter, summer, spring or autumn. Beech, pine, oak or birch. All trees and seasons work for this preset. Just make sure there’s a bit of white sky in there.
