Infrared Landscapes
One of the reasons I started landscape photography, is that it seems to be at the perfect intersection of art, technology and being outdoors. As early as 2006, I was an active presence on DeviantArt and started to embrace surrealist photography more and more. Then I discovered the Infrared Photographer’s club and that became my next obsession for a year or two.
While I sometimes come back to infrared photography just because taking pictures of things reflecting invisible light is so fascinating to me, it became less of an obsession since my early days of landscape photography. But I just love the way foliage glows and blue skies turn near black. Here are my personal favorite images. Both old and recent.
